Hello friends! My name is Ed Abrams and I own/operate Patriot Oversize Permits and Pilot Cars LLC. I am the vendor of choice for many haulers servicing industries such as oil and gas, heavy construction and agricultural equipment, structural building components including oversize steel and precast concrete, manufactured/modular housing and fiberglass swimming pools.
As a former owner-operator I know the value of having someone order OS/OW permits that understands the needs of drivers rather than what you might get from the larger service providers where an operator who’s never moved equipment or been behind the wheel simply puts your order into a queue and takes whatever route the computer gives them. Also, being self-employed and working for myself I answer your calls and order your permits outside of a usual 7-5 schedule you see with the bigger companies.
Earlier this year I also started offering pilot car services to escort oversize loads. Besides my own vehicle I have a network of several cars local to northeast Pennsylvania where I’m located. Cars are all properly insured equipped and certified.
